SAP MM (Material Management)

SAP Material Management module ensures that there is never any shortage of materials, and there is no gap in the supply chain process of an organization. It basically deals with the procurement process related to materials such as buying the materials from vendors, master data, inventory management, and Invoice verification.

MM module provides companies the ability to manage materials, inventory, and warehouse. It is also part of SAP ECC’s logistic function. MM also plays an important role in the manufacturer’s supply chain process. It starts from a material quotation from vendors, makes a price comparison, purchases orders, manages the good receipt, invoice verification, and handles material issues.
