Installation Activities

System Requirements

To install SAP R/3 and SAP GUI in our system, we should fulfill some basic minimum system requirements:

Supporting systems:

  • Window Vista

  • Window XP

  • Window 7

  • Window 8

  • Window 8.1

  • Window 10

  • Window 2008 Server

  • Window 2008 R2 Server

  • Window 2012 R2 Server

  • Window 2016 Server

Supported Microsoft office:

  • Only 32-bit MS office versions for Bex tools.

  • MS Office 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016.

  • Microsoft Office 365.

System Memory

  • Window XP – Minimum of 1GB, recommended 2GB

  • Window 7 – Minimum of 2 GB, recommended 4GB

  • Mac with Virtual Machine – Minimum of 2 GB, recommended 4GB

  • Disk space should be 800 MB free for SAP GUI and fully installed applications.
