Maintain User Profile

SAP allows the users to modify their parameters, including their personal information or data such as time zone, date, time, formats for date and time, printing attributes, etc. To maintain a user profile, you need to click on the system and choose "User Profile" from the menu items.

You will get options like hold data, set data, delete data, own data, and expand favorites when you choose User Profile. Click on the Own data.

After you choose your own data, the below screen will appear where you get three options Address, Default, Parameters.  

If you choose the address screen as above, you can modify your personal information such as title, email id, first name, last name, and mobile number as a User.

The default section screen as above allows you to change below options:

  • The date format can be changed for a particular user. 

  • Decimal notation can be changed as it has three types of number formats, i.e., Space, X, Y. 

  • Logon Language allows you to choose a language for your SAP system if you don't wish to be English.

  • You can change your time zone as per your location.

  • Spool control allows you to set up the default printer for your user profile on which your documents will be printed until it is changed at runtime.
