EXPONENTIAL FUNCTION

EXPONENTIAL FUNCTION -

A Function is said to be exponential function -

for real valued function f : R→R, if for each x ∈ R

An exponential function f(x) is in the form of

where (x) is variable and (a) is a constant and a is known as the base of the function and it should be greater than 0.

Example-

  1. f(2) = 2² =  4
  2. f(2) = 3² =  9   so on.

Here, 2 and 3 is a constant and also known as base and power 2 is variable.
